FREMANTLES School and Wishmore Cross in Woking are closed today (Friday, January 18) due to expected snow.
Woking is preparing for snow later this morning (January 18).
Fremantles School, in Smarts Heath Road, Mayford Green, has told parents it will re-open on Monday (January 21).
Justin Price, headteacher, told parents: "We are committed to, and make every effort to, keep the school open and we do understand the frustration and difficulties that it causes in your busy lives for the children to be at home unexpectedly, however when we have such a high risk forecast for snow we do have to consider a number of issues when making a decision.
"The overriding factor here is the health and safety of the children, including their emotional health."

There could be more snowfall in hilly areas and a chance of drifting.
Surrey County Council has said its fleet of gritters have been out in force treating the regions major roads.
Commuters are also advised of changes to services with South West Trains revising its timetables.
