I've lived here all my life and worked in the community for the past 15 years. I like the diversity of different nationalities, religions etc and the tolerance shown by different community groups towards each other. I like it's proximity to London for cultural and social reasons, and the cultural and social life Woking itself offers. There are some beautiful walks in woods and along the canal and it's a cycling town too.
Some peoples points of view can be insular and intolerant. There is a lack of live music in the area that's accessible to all and whilst there are good cultural opportunities provided for people there isn't the motivation within the community for people to stage or take part in events themselves.
