  • Fire Services Called to Greenhouse Fire in Goldsworth Park

    The cause of  a pillar of black smoke over Goldsworth Park yesterday was revealed to be a greenhouse fire which required two appliances to attend to stop it spreading to nearby garages and homes.  Firefighters had the fire under control and were ensuring safety of nearby buildings to stop any spread.     A Woking man, 52 was killed by a train at West Byfleet Station on Thursday 29 December. The train, travelling from London Waterloo to Weymouth left at 19.05 and hit the man at 19.30.
