Four men arrested after Woking assault

FOUR men have been arrested after an attack on two taxi passengers which left them with head and facial injuries.

Two men were injured in a four-man attack in The Broadway in Woking town centre at 2.30am on Saturday (March 9).
A 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were getting into a taxi in The Broadway at 2.30am on Saturday when they were set upon by a gang of court men.
Two 24-year-old men, a 26-year-old man and 27-year-old man, all from Chertsey and Addlestone, were arrested on suspicion of assault. All four remain in custody.
Detective Constable Clare Nettleton said: "This was a vicious and completely unprovoked attack which has left the two young men injured.
"Although we have made a number of arrests in connection with the incident I am still urging members of the public to come forward with information to help us establish the circumstances surrounding the assault."
