When will the roadworks end?

I regularly travel between Woking and Weybridge, and have started to wonder if the roadworks will ever end!
Most disappointly, the main Seven Hills Road is shut again for 10 weeks
from Sunday, after being open for just a few weeks after all the pot
holes were fixed.
Southern gas are responsible for the road closing this time, because
this is the main part of it's on-going gas mains replacement project.
The closure had originally been planned for six months starting in
December 2009, but this has been reduced to three blocks of 10 weeks
after protest, the first two of which are complete. The third block
will start on Sunday, and probably won't end until the end of the
summer holidays!
At least 10 weeks is better than six months, but still, I'm not looking forward to this!
