Piano recital for a summer's evening - Matthew Rickard

Pianist and founder of the Concerts at St. Peter's series, Matthew Rickard, gives a solo piano recital in the beuatiful surroundings of St. Peter's in Old Woking on Saturday 6th July at 7pm. Matthew will start his programme with Bach's "Italian Concerto", one of his most popular works, and will end with Schubert's masterpiece for the piano, his "Wanderer Fantasy". Matthew will also perform Albeniz's evocative "Songs of Spain" and a sprightly piano sonata by Haydn.

Matthew Rickard studied at the Royal Academy of Music and the Unviersity of Surrey and gives many performances all over the UK and Europe as both soloist and chamber musician. Matthew has recorded several CDs with the EM Records and Toccata Classics labels, and has also performed on BBC Radio 3's "In Tune" programme.

This concert will be begin at 7pm, and tickets will cost £10.
