John and Edward Hassell
From 1820 to 1833 father and son artists John and
Edward Hassell produced more than 2,000 watercolours
of Surrey. This exhibition focuses on the Hassells'
depictions of Woking and the surrounding parishes, which
reveal a picturesque view of Surrey before the age of the
railway.
