A festive treat is on store at the Woodlands Park Hotel on Wednesday 12 December, come along to our afternoon tea including a cookery demonstration by Chef David Gillott who opened the Four Gables Food Acedemy in January.
Guest will be greeted with a glass of champagne as David demonstrates how to make a chocolate ganache, with various different flavours and combinations, and roll into truffles. Guests will be able to taste and try the truffles and will also be able to purchase truffles to take home. David will provide recipe cards and will be happy to have a question and answer session after the demonstration.
This will be followed by a traditional afternoon tea, with a selection of finger sandwiches, pastries, scones, mini mince pies, etc, served with a selection of loose leaf teas, speciality coffee and herbal infusions.
What better place to enjoy this fine tradition than in one of the beautiful rooms of this historic country house. Enjoy the grandeur of the surroundings whilst savoring carefully prepared pastries, dainty sandwiches and the finest leaf tea, served to perfection.
The event will commence at 3pm and is anticipated to finish by 5.30pm.
Tickets cost just £60 per person and spaces are limited.
