WEDDING CELEBRATIONS WOKING STYLE

There are fourteen road closures in Woking on Friday 29 April to enable their residents to hold street parties to celebrate the Royal Wedding Bank Holiday. Since the Romans used street parties to celebrate victory in war we seem to have turned it to happier matters as a way of bringing people together and engendering a community spirit.
