Do we really need 24 hour shopping at the Lion Retail Park in Oriental Road? This small retail park is being over developed. A coffee shop is to be added. Much of the hedging has been removed. An already busy residential area will be subject to noise at night as well as in the day. It will introduce even more litter to the retail park, nearby roads and Horsell Common. The park will be lit when people want less light to enable sleep. More traffic will be an outcome. Lorries now have access to the car park. Already another ASDA is being developed in Sheerwater. There are many other local supermarkets and stores.

PS No need for 24 hour opening has been demonstrated. But Plan 2012/0736 (although rejected at appeal) demonstrates a desire for a new 2 storey KFC unit in Woking. Might Lion Retail Park be the next retail park to be chosen? Do we need to add to the range of fast food outlets here? See Chris_Hatton's comment of 18/01/13
