SAY NO to another KFC in Woking.

Amsric Group are appealing to the planning directorate to demolish the Goldsworth Arms Inn near Morrisons and replace it with a two-storey, drive-through KFC. If the plan goes ahead, the already congested Goldsworth Road could be made even worse by the extra traffic, frustrating local shoppers and businesses, and causing a litter problem in the area.

Amsric Group (http://tinyurl.com/atlmt3y) already have two outlets in Woking - does our town really need a third, gaudy fast food outlet? Residents have less than 3 weeks left to voice our concerns at:

Or, email your concerns to the planning case officer, Peter Lyne, at:

LION RETAIL PARK - 24 HOUR OPENING - SAY NO - PLAN NUMBER 2013/1004.
CONTACT DAVID RAPER AT WOKING BOROUGH COUNCIL

Do we really need 24 hour shopping at the Lion Retail Park in Oriental Road? This small retail park is being over developed. A coffee shop is to be added. Much of the hedging has been removed. An already busy residential area will be subject to noise at night as well as in the day. It will introduce even more litter to the retail park, nearby roads and Horsell Common. The park will be lit when people want less light to enable sleep. More traffic will be an outcome. Lorries now have access to the car park. Already another ASDA is being developed in Sheerwater. There are many other local supermarkets and stores.

Say not to the planning application by writing to David Raper at Woking Borough Council or emailing him - david.raper@woking.gov.uk Quote plan number 2013/1004.

PS No need for 24 hour opening has been demonstrated. But Plan 2012/0736 (although rejected at appeal) demonstrates a desire for a new 2 storey KFC unit in Woking. Might Lion Retail Park be the next retail park to be chosen? Do we need to add to the range of fast food outlets here? See Chris_Hatton's comment of 18/01/13
