Hi, I am new to this (secret society) I had no idea existed until just today. Nothing else like this exists anywhere on the Internet except for Woking Friends which is comprised of a few hundred people who meet up for regular discussions and leisurely activities: I'm a lot too shy for something like that so this is perfect!

I recently came across a very useful site called Woking freecycle and managed to get some great things from that huge bag of goodies!. Has anyone on here tried it and if so, what sort of things were you looking for and did you receive what you were anticipating?

I have received a Raleigh bike; computer desk; television cabinet; printer and scanner as well as bookcase that has saved me a fortune if went out and bought them myself. I have given a lot in return, but it does feel awkward asking complete strangers for things you need that they have and don't want!
