CCTV footage has been released following a robbery at a shop in Woking.

Two young men went into the store in Wych Hill at 5.20pm on Thursday (January 10) to steal cigarettes.

One suspect shouted at the shopkeeper not to move while the other intruder went to raid the display counter.

The victim was grabbed and a scuffle broke out in which the shopkeeper received a minor leg injury.

The suspects are described as two white men, 5ft 6" to 5ft 7" tall, aged between 18 and 21 years-old and of skinny build. One man is described as wearing a dark jacket, a dark hat with a black and white scarf covering some of his face and carrying a brown shoulder bag.

The second suspect is similarly described as covering his face and wore a distinctive black and white chequered patterned hooded top. He wore black trousers, black trainers with white soles and was carrying a black shoulder bag.

PC Kelly Barr investigating said: "I am hoping the suspects in these images will be recognised by a member of the public and that with such help officers will be able to locate these offenders and bring them to justice."

Anyone who may have information which could help identify the suspects is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting WK/13/223. Alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
