Tries galore in derby win

STREATHAM-CROYDON eased to a comfortable derby win over Surrey Three strugglers Mitcham in a subdued contest that only came alive in patches.
The hosts scored tries through Charlie Crewe, captain Garvin Toussaint, Maika Daveta, Chris Tipton, Aaron Brown and Lyall Thompson. Aaron Brown kicked 16 points.
Streatham have one league match to play, away at Old Tonbridgians on April 14 and a Surrey Bowl semi-final against Woking on April 21 to look forward to.
In other news, the club have won the President's XI award, a national competition that aims to identify and reward initiatives that promote the development of rugby at a grassroots level.
