SOUTH West Trains has advised passengers that it will be operating an amended timetable for the remainder of today (December 5) as a result of disruption caused by severe weather conditions which has affected rail services in Woking.
Icy conditions have caused lengthy delays across the South West Trains (SWT) network. The rail company said it was operating fewer trains than usual on all routes in and out of London Waterloo.
Hourly services are currently operating on each route across the SWT network and this is expected to continue for the rest of the day.
Rail users are being warned trains are likely to be close to or at full capacity, particularly during the evening peak.
A full ticket refund for customers affected by today's disruption is available on the SWT website.
SWT passengers may also use First Great Western, London Underground, Southern and London Buses on all reasonable routes.
Passengers planning to travel are advised to visit the South West Trains website or call National Rail Enquiries for the latest service updates before they travel. Twitter users can follow South West Trains at @SW_Trains.
