Man jailed for attempted pub burglary

A MAN who tried to break in to a Woking pub has been jailed for six months.

Gary Mansfield, 35, of Spencer Close, Sheerwater, was found hiding underneath a vehicle after unsuccessfully trying to get break in to The Crown in High Street, Horsell, at 2.45am on Sunday (August 26).

He was charged with attempted burglary and remanded in custody to appear before Guildford Magistrates Court on Monday (August 27).

Mansfield pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison.
