RESIDENTS are being asked to help tidy up their communities with litter pick sessions.
Westfield Common Residents Association and Surrey Wildlife Trust are running "a day of action" to improve Westfield Common today (October 27) from 11am to 3pm.
People can help tidy up the Common with a litter pick and even get involved with the restoration of Moor Lane pond. Meet on Moor Lane opposite Bonners Close.
Meanwhile, members of the Holy Trinity Church are holding a community fun day and clear up around Knaphill on Friday November 2 from 1.30pm – 4pm.
PCSO for Brookwood and Knaphill Naz Raja said: "We have got a whole host of exciting team building games and scavenger hunts planned for the day as well as the litter pick to clean up the area. We hope that local people will come and join us and make this a really fun event."
Meet at the Vyne Community Centre, Broadway, Knaphill at 1.30pm where instructions about the litter pick will be given.
The games will start at around 3pm in the field by the Vyne followed by homemade cake provided by local residents.
