WOKING Football Club fans are being urged to help clear a blanket of snow from the pitch to allow a match to go ahead.

Help is needed to clear snow from Woking FC's pitch.
Volunteers have been lending a helping hand to try and shift the white stuff from the grounds in Elmbridge Lane ahead of Tuesday night's game against Newport County.
But more help is still needed and Woking FC is appealing to volunteers to turn up tomorrow from 9.30am to clear snow.
Woking FC press officer John Moore said: "The board and everyone connected with Woking Football Club wish to thank all the volunteers who turned up today and worked so hard to clear all the snow from the stadium and surrounding car parks.
"The pitch is currently protected by a blanket of snow and the club's groundsman, Colin Galliford, would like more volunteers to turn up tomorrow, from 9.30am onwards, to remove the snow off the pitch, so that it can be worked on in readiness for tomorrow night's game against Newport County."
Refreshments will be provided.
