Elderly woman hit by car in Woking

AN ELDERLY woman suffered a serious head injury when she was struck by a car in Woking.
Officers were called to Cawsey Way, Woking, shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday (October 6).
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, suffered a serious head injury and was taken by air ambulance to Kings College Hospital, London. The driver of the black BMW involved did not report suffering any injuries.
The road was closed for around an hour and a half whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
