The Day The Fish Ate My Feet

I know it sounds like a fifties B movie but it's true! It actually happened.
I have been reading about the benefits of the Garra Ruffa fish pedicure and walked past people in the Peacocks centre with rolled up trousers and feet stuck in the aquariums (the manager of Pets at Home must have had a coronary the first time they ever saw a fish pedicure), but was a bit wary. Its not a natural inclination of mine to offer my limbs to be eaten by wild animals and who knows? I could be the one who had the aquarium where a secret ingredient got tipped in to the water breeding some sort of superfish with big teeth (am I mixing this up with a review of Rise of The Planet of The Apes?)
I decided to take the plunge, feel the fear and do it anyway, jump into the fray, and all those phrases. After a quick wash to ensure safety - of the fish not me, I was bemused to find out, I hovered over the tank (never thought I'd have to say that on the world wide web). The lady was very kind but I realised I was being pathetic so stuck them on in. There were tiny weeny tickle feelings all around my feet and I looked down to see a fish sunbathing on my big toe, oh actually eating it, but it was fine, a very pleasant sensation in fact.
After my time my feet did feel softer and as an activity to do with a friend it's fun, may replace the manicures where you sit with someone wearing a face mask who puts tiny diamante bits n bobs on your fingernails while you think "Oh Blimey how will I go to the loo after this!?" or force your children to file down your feet under protest and In Woking you can have a fish pedicure at
