A3 Accident Causes Power Cut in Ripley

Adverse weather conditions on Thursday could have contributed to an accident on the A3 which left the exit slip road at Riply closed and power outages in West Byfleet and Ripley.

Although Ambulance crews were in attendance at the scene which was thought to involve one car there were no serious injuries.

Police again reminded motorists to take extra care when driving in heavy rain and other adverse conditions.
